It was been a while Eddy Rush Fatboy Didn't Update about Food reviews and today we found a Hiddem gem in Kepong. Recently we heard a lot about Coconut nasi briyani or Nasi Briyani bamboo but this time I found this Nasi Lemak Bamboo Filled with NON Crispy Redang Ayam...hahaha

What makes this Nasi Lemak Bamboo so Famous are their Rice are Steamed in bamboo. At this moment, Azfar Maju Corner is the only restaurant that serve unique nasi lemak in Bamboo in the town.
This Nasi Lemak Bamboo Azfar Maju Corner is located at Bandar Menjalara, Kepong. The Nasi Lemak Bamboo starting to sell from 6PM to 11PM, Early Booking are advice to avoid for long waiting because the rice are done by Steaming and takes time. Call Puan Seema at 019-444 6441.
It will take about 40 Minute to steam the rice in Bamboo until it cooks
Last three minute before it cooks, Added in Chicken Rendang and Gravy.
Sambal Paste, Cucumber, Peanuts and hard boiled Egg added last minute before the rice cooks, This makes the Cumcumber and Peanuts crunchy.
To ensure the freshness of Rice, Puan Seema cook the rice using coconut milk. Let's say, If cook one kilogram of rice then will use one kilogram of coconut milk to maintaining the quality. Puan Seema learned the recipe from her parents from decades and now serving us the best Nasi Lemak Bamboo in town.
Aside from the delicious rice, nasi lemak bamboo is paired with chicken rendang that cooked freshly every day. Puan Seema use Kampung chicken and slow cook for 4 hours. The rendang Gravy with cover part of the rice and the chicken tender was soft, Nasi Lemak Bamboo is sold at the price of Rm12.90. At now, Puan Seema only serve chicken Rendang but In the future she will extend the choices to paired with Nasi lemak Bamboo.
