the team did an amazing job on the visual effects and the aliens were really well realised . The audience I saw it with found it funny. The big clue was the laughter and I'm surprised Jones and Cleese are working together again . But nothing else here really clicks. In time-honoured Python fashion, Kate Beckinsale’s love interest Cath is never really developed – which is perhaps a blessing, because her cut-glass-posh performance is almost as grating as Pegg’s.
