Sunset Sailing , Boracay

A Paraw is a traditional Philippino sailboat with two outriggers. If you visit Boracay, it is essential that you take a ride on one of these cool native sailboats. In addition to being a rich cultural experience, it is extremely fun and enjoyable too.

The feeling was wonderful and relaxing as the paraw sails out to the azure sea and the windy sea breeze blows gently against to the faces. As the paraw sails further far away from the island, we get to see the entire beautiful coastline of Boracay. The boat crew have a very good skill to controls the sails..

As the sun begins to set, it paints the sky and wispy clouds with a warm orange glow . and we see the silhouettes of other sailboats on the horizon turning to sail back to shore before it gets dark. We are glad we went on this sunset sailing trip .

Our Paraw sailboat carry up to 6 people on its outrigger wings.

You can actually enjoy this activity any time of day, but the best time is to have it about 5-5:15pm to witness the sunset while at sea . We paid P200 each for this activity for half hour.
