Jonker 88, Melaka






Located on the famous Jonker Street, Jonker 88 is famous for its Cendol. In addition, it also serves dishes and desserts like Ice Kacang, Curry Laksa, Nyonya Laksa and Yong Tau Fu. However, the Durian Cendol is the main attraction, and it has even been featured on the 8TV Hochak show. It comes sprinkled generously with palm sugar (gula melaka) and coconut milk (santan). A self proclaimed 'Museum Cafe', the numerous artifacts and ornaments on display on the walls are an additional interesting sight.























While you are sweating and tired of walking around the town center, this is a shop that you could pay a visit to take a rest while enjoying the cooling iced Baba Chendol. It's a fascinating experience and truly relaxing before you continue your visiting to more places.


The shop has a small entrance with a stall is placed on the left and right respectively at the entrance. It practices self-service serving method, where you order and pay for the foods at the stalls, then carry them to the table all by yourself 


This cafe is called "Museum Cafe" as the owner exhibit various kind of antique as well as old photos inside the shop for the customers to see when enjoying their foods.

























the Baba Chendol (RM 3). It's not the cendol, or the beans used, but the glorious, heavenly gula melaka (palm sugar) drizzled all over the mound of shaved ice. The thick and sticky gula melaka adds a caramel texture and fragrance to the cendol, and you'll find yourself licking the sticky bits off your spoon once you're done. If you like durian, you'll probably love the Durian Chendol (RM 4), where they give you chunks of durian flesh in your bowl.


My favourite laksa from Jonker 88 was this, Baba Laksa kahwin Nyonya Asam Laksa, RM5. Basically it's a mixture of two types of laksa, and it tasted so NICE! Wouldn't mind eating this all the time, though it still doesn't beat the best laksa of all time .

 Mince Fish & Prawn Gravy dry Noodle,kinda special taste from other dry noodles,once mix the Mince Fish wit the noodles it will be more tasty...yummy!!

The Big Bowl Curry Noodle that famous and viral on social media now days , known as KL 巨無霸咖喱 !!!  A BLOG that i read that said they went for few time for this giant bowl curry noodle but fail to taste it on their first few time visit . Found this well-known restaurant As Shop Lot at Jalan Kapar, Klang. My Fren brought us there for dinner. It's not far from Damnsara, only about 20 minutes drive (If Not Jam) .Located opposite KWSP, EON Bank and Kamdar. Same row as Wisma Lembaga Tabung Haji. it is worth travel all the way to Klang for their seafood.
